Personally, the same very thing is happening to me. I just stayed late last
night to remember old times, but I now prefer to go to sleep at nights and
wake up early in the morning.

I went to bed at about 5:00 AM, and I woke up at about noon. Mildly tired. I
am not used to stay late at nights anymore, but not so bad because it's been
about a month I sleep regularly at nights. Thanks for asking.

No, I don't know. At one time feeling bad in the morning was
considered a symptom of endogenous depression, but I don't know if
that distinction even holds anymore. I don't have bad dreams,
sometimes confusing ones, like "what was that all about?"
When depression is really working I wake up disappointed that I am
still alive. Night just seems better for me.

I notice that often late morning or early afternoon is the best
time... my memory works a bit better, as long as I don't drink
caffeine... and of course meal times are a pleasent time of day...
