My favorite is homemade ice cream. We have one of those ice cream makers.
The electric type. Not the old hand crank ones.

We no longer have a traditional greengrocer, and supermarkets have
everything all year round. I'm not so bothered by the vegetables, but I
miss fruit in season; it tastes nicer. I think we may have to turn the
back garden into a fruitarium.
