i wish i could go to sleep
comin in on the last hour and the kid'll be here soon and we'll saddle
up.........blasted have to make 2 or 3 stops before we get outta here, it'll
be 11pm easy by the time we get there...............
and that 1st appt. is bright and early at 9am, a goodly way from where i'm
staying..........
damn kid doesn't know what its like to be an old fart
i hope he appreciates it someday when he's my age

i've been reading lewis carroll's 'through the looking glass' at
bedtime. it leads to very strange dreams.

these dreams don't relate directly to what i'm reading, they're
just warped in ways like the book is. my dreams are usually
pretty realistic, but now there's giant things and miniature
things and talking nonverbal beings. really warped.

I saw "Vacation" and Chevy Chase was in a pool with naked Christie
Brinkley. That night I dreamt I was playing pool with David Brinkley.
