do a google search for support groups your area, I'm sure you'll come
across a list of available community support groups..

Good idea. I found a weight management therapy group, and a bunch of
general support groups.

I used to belong to some pagan groups locally, though I stopped going
because they don't have any respect for anyone but pagans. I want to
join the masons, but I've disattached fromm my only mason friend, so I
would need to meet new masons to join.

well, on my first meeting, I was the only one who showed up, which was ok,
because it gave me a chance to talk to the facilitator about goings on,
and
get comfortable with the meeting space, etc.. ..so at least I won't be
overwhelmed when there are others there.. ..it's a very small group
(obviously).. ..and I am the only single-full-custody dad.. ..but I guess
last year, there was a very tight group of 3 single-full-custody fathers..
..which is rather rare in these parts (I'm surprised by that). The food
was great, and ds was well taken care of..

I plan on going to the single parents group too (which will be nothing but
single mothers).. ..next week here. (MILFs!!!)
