feeling incredibly depressed |
Feeling incredibly depressed. Got mad at my pdoc two months ago. Haven't
seen him since. Also stopped my meds. Stupid I know. Was hoping I would
be ok withouth them. But I guess not. Now I have sunken into a dark hole
with thoughts of suicide and self injury rushing about me. Guess its time
to look for a new pdoc. I really hate this.

this isn't good. esp since it hasn't been THAT long since you were in the
hospital!!! certainly not long enuff that you'd be okay to stop your meds
already. :/

I had one of those thoughts cross through my mind just in the past few
days. It's not really that I wanted to do anything, I just thought
about it. Mostly the meds have cleared things up.
I hope you're able to find another psychiatrist. I'm sure if you gave
him a call and apologized he'd be willing to take you back.

finding a decent doc isn't always easy. do you have a primary
care doc who could recommend someone good near you?
if what you were taking worked for you, maybe you could get a
new script, either from your primary doc or the er to tide you
over while you're looking. it sounds like you need something to
help now. post or email me if the thoughts get too strong and
you want some help, or just a listening ear or some distraction.
i hope you see some relief soon. i know how draining the fight
can be.

missy, hi, you probably don't remember me but I remember you.
The irony here is that its when your least able too, thats when you
have to reach out.
You have to save your own butt, you can do it. Just march in there
and tell them you are trying to save your own butt and you wish they
would help you. thats exactly what I said, It worked! I'm a little
better now. Still dirt poor but more steady It can happen,
