Object: feeling lonely
I must be the loneliest person on earth. Day after day, week after week,
year after year, decade after decade, I just work, eat, and sleep, with no
friends and no hope.
Almost nobody would miss me if I died tomorrow. The only people who
congratulated me on my last birthday were my mom, my brother and his
family, the car dealership where I bought my truck, and my employer. My
employer of course congratulates every employee, so that doesn't mean
anything. The car dealership just wants me to buy more from them. My
immediate family cares about me, but they are thousands of miles away. I
have nobody here.
How can I recover from depression when I'm in an environment where I'm
deprived of the basic necessities of life?
Holidays don't help either. Too much time to think.

No one should have to live this way and breaks my heart. It really does.
Regardless of how hateful you can be at times. Does the hate make you
lonely or has being lonely made you hate. Only you know the answer to that
and only you can do something about it. It's one of two ways Vic Man.
Learn to love yourself and others or learn to love your solitude. Either
work on the paranoia, the hypersensitivity, the rages, the bigotry, all the
things that prevent you from functioning normally socially, or learn how to
live alone and like it. Talk to your pdoc about specialized treatment or
therapy (DBT might be a good start) for the things that are wrong in you and
your life and once you do that you'll either be able to live with others and
meet people or you'll be able to live alone and enjoy it. Either way it's
going to take hard work that only *you* can do. I'm sorry you're feeling so
badly. No one deserves what you're going through. *I* can't hate people
enough to wish that on anyone. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers and
hope you get some help with this.

Loneliness is an interior thing. Being alone isn't sufficient, or
necessary, as lots of people can affirm. You must work on what's inside
you to stop feeling lonely.

No they don't. That's my point. No one deserves to be hated. Hate is not
a *normal* human emotion. It's a perversion of other, emotions like fear
and threat that we don't work on and let fester and let poison us. Hate is
what comes from not dealing with anger, and resentment, and other feelings
with workable solutions, but it is not natural to the human condition.

I've written an entire community, but only when I've been alone.

It seems I see everything when I am alone. In company I become clouded
with their brain static. Still, it does break the monotony of
everything.

I don't become clouded in company. It's as though someone else takes
over and, for two or three hours, I'm as cheery as ever I was. I crash
after wards. I do my thinking between top and bottom, when I'm on my
own, usually.

always fail and friends eventually ask you to help them move. Get a
