feline diabetes |
Does anyone have a cat with diabetes? What are the symptoms? I'll be taking
her to the vet, but am doing some research until I can get her in. Thanks!

drinking and peeing a *lot* is a big symptom but can be a symptom of
other stuff as well. most but not all diabetic cats are overweight but
diabetes can cause weight loss. best bet is to get to the vet soon and
get bloodwork done. kidney disease and diabetes can look pretty
similar sometimes.

Thanks, my last 2 cats died from system shutdowns-kidney, thyroid-but they
were really old, 1 was 18, the other 19, This one is probably about 11 yrs
old
