Object: few words about my experiences with depression
After reading present and past mails form this group I decided to write
you
about my experiences. What I am here writing about may seem to you
ridicules
(well it seemed TOTALLY ridicules to me in the beginning), but it
worked for
me and I hope it also will work for you.
I have been depressed for a very long time, now it is much better I
become
stronger day after day. It was very painful, I was on the edge and I
could
not stand it any longer. By accident I have read a book - "Possessed by
Ghosts - Exorcisms in the 21st Century". First I was totally surprised
by
the content, but then I understood what the true reason for my (and any
other) depression was.
If you want to get more information, about the book go to

I can spin my head right around. If you allow my feet to follow.

I have a friend who has made a lifelong study of religion and is himself
deeply religious.
A couple of weeks ago, he described Christianity to me as a tender
meditation upon mercy and that begins, for him, with the crucified Christ's
plaintive, "My god, why hast thou forsaken me?"
I think there's some truth to his view of Christianity. I even think that
there's something in that view for depressives. Who can't identify with
that Christ?
But I don't think there's the slightest bit of truth in the idea that
depression is caused by evil spirits.

"evil spirits" as in what? No, if as to some sort of ghosts. But if a
person who raised you for a few years had a "demon" (her moms word) in
them, then YES it can really screw a person up. Yes, it can be overcome,
but reminders make the memories come back again, so now I am avoiding
reminders, so I can get back to my old self as much as possible.

Your work is to discover your world
and then with all your heart, give yourself to it.

I often have long conversations all by myself,
and I am so clever that sometimes I don't
understand a single word I am saying.
