terrible time with various free servers. Sporadic at best. Terribly

I don't know. I have been thinking about it though. I mean anything can be
hacked and or infected, right? I wondered if it was something like that
going on. When I log on in the morning there are usually two or three
hundred new posts, lately I'm lucky if there are 20, and given this thread,
several people have noticed the same problem. Something is definitely
wrong. I don't even know who or how they would look into a malfunction
such as this.

the post dipped sharply in July of last year. it appears this year, it is
happening a month early. but the last few years show a trend of less posts
in the summer months.
3700 posts in 12 days.

Possibly, but I have posted things that showed up three days later, or in
several instances, not at all, and they showed up on one newsserver, but not
on any of the other servers. Other people have had the same thing happen so
it would appear the servers are the problem.

yeah I suppose anything can be hacked, infected and messed with. who knows
what it was.
maybe just a simple bottleneck slowing things down. It seems to have
subsided now. lots of
posts on ASD now. are you seeing more posts now too ? whatever was
wrong, *seems*
to have been cleared up, as least as far as I can tell.
