i'm on a med that doesn't have a 'no alchohol' warning on it.

Hey Lisa
If your talking about the Cytomel, my doctor said alcohol wouldn't really
change the response or affect differently with or without alcohol.

If your talking about the Cytomel, my doctor said alcohol
wouldn't really change the response or affect differently
with or without alcohol.
yep. that's the one. my other 5 meds all say not to drink. most
of them just increase drowsiness, though, and one beer isn't a
problem.

nope. it's giving me extra energy, too, which i badly needed. i
couldn't sit still at the game yesterday. otoh, maybe i'll catch
up on laundry.

Hi Alan,
She's taking Cytomel, which is normally used on people who are hypothyroid,
to speed it up a bit, her doctor is trying it on her depression.

cytomel. i don't think there's a generic name for it, at least i
couldn't find one. it's thyroid hormone, synthetic t3. i'm
taking 25 mcg/day. my pdoc said that it helped 25% of patients
studied, so it's worth a shot. hth.
