Object: Finally set a wedding date
I'm getting married Oct. 8, 2005. Might seem like a weird time to get
married, not the typical June wedding, but it's Mike's and my favorite time
of year. Also, it's our anniversary.
Still haven't started planning it yet, but I've got tons of magazines, and
tons of ideas.

You get a nice dress you can wear afterwards to go to parties. Mike gets
a better than average suit. You pop along to the judge and do the deed.
You go to a hall somewhere and have a bit of a knees-up with a few dips
and drinks. What more is there to it?
Congrats, BTW.

The opinions given above may be mine. They might also
just be what I feel like saying right now, okay?

Which is about what we did.
We had a chruch wedding (for my mother mostly) total of 15 people.
I did have a wedding dress, and I'm glad I did.
Then we went to our favorite restaurant, had a huge feast with our
friends, went to my moms place for cake and then off to a b&b for over
night.
I think we might have spent about $1000.00 total. (that's canadian
too) and I wouldn't change a thing about it. (except maybe the getting
married part.)
Best of luck to you.
