smoke, I thought the sun this morning was the moon there is such

They have warnings out if you're elderly or have breathing

it happens here in the late summer , blue smoke everywhere

I guess it happened here really bad about 5 years ago. We have

fires

every

year but this is the first for me this bad.

the closet one to me was last year ,
about 70 miles away ,
we had to take people in ,
from a town that was closer to the fire ,
cause we were the next closest down ,
the schools were full the rec centre was full ,
people even gave up rooms in their homes to help

wow that's really cool. I would love to live in a town with a bunch

of

people that help each other out like that

yea , its pretty cool here that way ,
people pitch in on the positive stuff still ,
i think that's why the crime rate is so low too ,
why steal it , if you want you can borrow it ,
or you're boosting the guy that just fed your family last week

One of the few bright spots about the WTC atrocities of 9/11 was what
happened
in the town of Gander Newfoundland. All the stranded air travellers were
taken
into people's homes until the crisis was over and the planes were allowed
back
into the air.

The natural human response at times of crisis is to help one another, I
just
wish it didn't take that kind of crisis to bring out the best in us.
