First days can be hard... |
My 5 year old nephew is autistic. Today is his first day of
mainstreaming in Kindergaten. He's in the AI program for 1/2 a day, and
then goes to mainstream the rest of a day with an aide for
facilitation. My sister called me, and she is a wreck.
We moms have it tough, I don't care what anybody says. This can be the
toughest job in the world.

I am sure he will be ok. From your note it sounds like a good program, I
hope he feels comfortable there.
