The computer updated itself with the new rules, and the cell phone got the
correct time from a local cell tower.
I had to change 2 alarm clocks, 2 watches, 1 vcr, 1 clock, 1 microwave oven,
1 coffee maker, 1 answering machine, and 2 car clocks. I'm sure I've
forgotten something, I always do.

I should probably add 2 more to my list ... my Mom's answering machine and
car. She never remembers how to do them. That makes 13 total. This is
rediculous.

I think it would be funny if all clocks were sattelite synced,
like GPS.
.... and just for shites and giggles someone hacked it and
changed it by a little bit.
changed the time.

My cell phone's an hour off and I can't find where to set it,
assuming I can at all. I reset New York time, which is in my
time zone, but that didn't affect the local time.

Turn your phone off, then turn it on again, that's when mine changed.
Other then that it's under phone prefs depending on your phone and service.

Thanks, Jane. I don't know why I didn't think of cycling the
power. That did it.

Here's for everybody running something pre-XP-service-pack-2 and their
computer didn't:
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=914387
My GPS mfg didn't update the DST "Auto" feature in their firmware, but
it is an older unit. Still kinda bugs me because it's easy for them to
do however.
Cell phones get their time from the network (provided you don't disable
that feature). It's often question #1 when you first turn them on from
brand new.

Mine is broken, and reads the wrong time,
because it spins too fast.
Went to work to fix something, got an
intense "I don't want to be here" feeling,
so just now drove home again.
Time is a weird thing, sometimes
don't want it, sometimes do. It's
always more too fast than too slow.
