Fla. House Passes Schiavo Bill; Senate Defeats It

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- The state House passed a bill
Thursday that could keep Terri Schiavo alive, less than
24 hours before the brain-damaged woman's feeding tube is
scheduled to be removed.
But a more limited version of the proposal was defeated
in the Senate, casting doubt on whether lawmakers could
reach a compromise before the scheduled removal of the
severely brain-damaged woman's feeding tube at 1 p.m.
Friday.
Meanwhile, Pinellas Circuit Court Judge George Greer
denied an effort by the Department of Children and
Families to delay the removal of the feeding tube while
the agency investigates allegations Terri Schiavo was
abused.
The judge said the agency was not a party to the legal
fight over Terri Schiavo. A state appeals court has also
denied the agency's request for a stay.

Dr. Maharaj,
If you honestly look at these verses in context you will easily see
that Jesus was referring to the resistance that will come against those
who follow the teachings of righteousness he taught. "You will be hated
by everybody because of My name." Matthew 10:22
Romans 10
9 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your
heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with
the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one
confesses and is saved. 11 For the Scripture says, "Everyone who
believes in him will not be put to shame." 12 For there is no
distinction between Jew and Greek; the same Lord is Lord of all,
bestowing his riches on all who call on him. 13 For "everyone who
calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
