In the past I've had that feeling, right as I was falling asleep. When
I'm on meds, its not there anymore. Have you spoken with a doctor or
therapist about some of your concerns? That might be helpful.

I felt that way once. Completely emotionally numb, nothing mattered,
nothing bothered me.
Sad when that would be a GOOD place to be, over ones current situation.

it feels better, but it's a dangerous place if the suicidal
thoughts come hard. when you don't care at all, nothing matters,
it's so easy to act on a whim.

Lisa,
When I was like that I didn't care enough to die, too numbe to even
care about it--I might have not checked both ways and walked into the
street, but INTENTIONALLY taking an action to die wouldn't have
happenned.
Gravity,
Do you chart/note your cycles? Are you diagnosed bi-polar?

i've been in that state, too. so numb i was just in a fog. those
were good days, though, when anything other than numb was
hellish. i'm glad i seem to be past that, at least for now.

Me too, those are the days the pain is so incredible you can't feel it
anymore, there is no more energy to feel anything... I hated it, I need to
move...

i should chart cycles and wake/sleep times. then show them to the doctor.
i'm suspect i'm bipolar, but my official dx is major depression.

You should. I was at one time diagniosed with major depression. They
treated me for it and that made things worse. I don't blame them though.
I was still lying about my hallucinations. I try to be as honest as I
can with professionals. It's the only way they can know what's going on.

There are times when I wish I could be like that. Right now I tend to
give a flying ***** about pretty much everything. I wonder if there's
an anti-flying-***** medication on the market (besides alcohol.)

I wouldn't at that the time, either. Then again, in the midgst of a
harrowing anxiety attack, it all seems a blur.
