advice. However, it would interfere with
the magickal thinking and superstitious
activities that I must engage in to help
influence the outcome of the game. If
they lose, my only consolation would be
that I did everything in my power to
help them win. The juju begins with the
incantation, "I believe!".

That's right! Before the SEA-CHI game started, I cut out a Seahawks hat
from the newspaper and taped it together for Fred. When Seattle lost in a
heartbreak OT, I turned to him and said "you should have worn the hat!"

I run a 3 game parlay league with 14 people with a $200 ante. We had
8 rollovers in a row this year and the pot was over $1,300 (pick any 3
NFL games against spread, you have to win them all).
My friend Brian picked the Monday night game and had won his previous
2 games in week 9. So he put half the pot on the opposite team he
picked in our pool on the Monday game to guarantee himself a return of
$650. Yep, he's an accountant, I told him that had to ***** off the
office pool God's.
