Object: For all people who live with cats.....
You know that "meow" .. the one they do before they upchuck .. I just had
to grab Zephyr and toss her in the bathroom .. close the door ..
That way I can clean it up bettter. If it is on the floor I just mop it up
... if it is on the bathmat I just toss it in the washer. Better that then
on the rug (already beyond hope).

Wombn, I know *exactly* what you're talking about, and I do exactly the same
thing for the same reasons!! Only I gently toss the retching cat into the tub,
then shut the bathroom door for ten minutes or so.
That "meowlllrr" wakes me and gets me jumping out of bed faster than the
loudest fire alarm ever could.

mine have never given the slightest bit of warning. I usually only
find out when I step in it.

I know what you mean...I work at home and I have two blue point siamese cats
(Toby & Cassie)and two toy manchester terriers (Sasha & Dancer)....many a
pair of socks have had to go in the wash. Sometimes when I'm on the phone
with clients the puppies are fighting in the background...must sound
hilarious to the person on the phone.

hehe. THor has been known to grunt loudly on the phone: that's Antsy
launching her 54 lb self onto his lap. I wonder what they're
thinking.

Have you tried Woolite Oxy Deep on the carpets? It works great for me.

Well the cat I have now has yet to do that - thank goodness ;)
But the cat I had before this one did that a lot in his later years. I just
had newpaper near by so when I heard that meow I just put the paper there
and through it all in the garbage.
