to set up newsgroups using outlook express. There are many other news
reader programs around, but most windows users have outlook express
already installed on their computer, so it's a good one to start with.

Internet Explorer Newsgroup Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to access Internet Explorer newsgroups using
OutlookŪ Express.

1. Print out this page for easy reference as you go through the steps.

2. Launch Outlook Express. You may be asked whether you want to
make Outlook Express your default e-mail program. If you don't have
Outlook Express installed, you can download Outlook Express from the
Internet Explorer 6 Downloads page. (You will need to download and

3. On the Tools menu in Outlook Express, click Accounts.

4. In the Internet Account dialog box, click the Add button, and
then click News.
