Easier said then done, there are so many Americans who want to bring home
their sons husbands, brothers, daughters, moms and sister's, without the
cooperation from our government we have little choice but to support our
troops. I don't agree with the fighting, but crapping on the troops won't
change anything. I will not behave as my parents generation and crap on
the soldiers.
to me, supporting the troops and wanting them to come back are
identical messages... We support them by wanting them to be safe and
sound,right here... I don't blame them for the war... I'm against
wars, but I'm not 100% sure that all wars are unjustifiable...
arguably, some wars are necessary, stopping Hitler for example... but
soldiers don't get to decide what wars they will fight in... they have
no choice but to fight in what ever they are dragged into... I feel sad
for them... It's the leaders who send them off to fight in these wars
that deserve an enormous amount of blame... and the people who profit
from the wars...

Exactly... They signed their freedom away when they joined the armed
forces, they are owned now by "Uncle Sam" and Uncle Sam decides what they
do. Most of these men and women joined the military thinking the chances of
ever having to go to war is very minimal and now they're paying the price.
I want them all to come home safe and sound, but we lose so many everyday.

You misunderstood, crapping by spitting on them, calling them baby killer
etc. When they do come home. I'm not leaving them there, this isn't "my"
choice, we're not given a vote if they can come home, it's not the ppl's
decision, it's the men in women in government, the ppl are protesting, the
ppl are writing letters, the ppl are complaining crying etc, what has it got
them? The men and women are still there dying for a cause that I can't even
fathom.

I think the answer is in what can be accomplished.
Since Iraq is now totally involved in a civil war, there's nothing more we
can accomplish by staying there. We've started them on the path but now
it's up to them to either make peace or continue killing each other in big
numbers.
The only think we can accomplish by staying is to kill more Americans. It's
time to recognize that we've done everything humanly possible to bring them
peace, whether they want it or not, and now it's time to leave.
