four blessed days off |
and none of them are going to be restful.
today i'm having lunch with my mom and sister at the olive garden, and
then hopefully a trip to the fish store to get some fishies for the
new (finally cycled) aquarium, along with some rocks and some more
plants. maybe driftwood? i'll have to take some pictures.
tomorrow is blogathon starting at 9 am and running until 9 am on
sunday. i've been tempted to drop out, but i've got $358 in pledges,
so i can't. i'm hoping i'll get into it and it will be as fun as past
years. i'm so exhausted though. i do'nt know how i'm going to make it
the full 24 hours. i really hope i can round up that $42 more in
pledges to break $400 like i did the past two years. it's not so
remarkable a goal is it?
then monday is my birthday, so we have to do the family grandparenty
get together that i think is more for their sake than mine. i'm
getting a cherry pie instead of a birthday cake. priorities. my mother
keeps asking me "what do you want for your birthday" and she doesn't
think i'm serious when i say "a horsie" but i don't have any better
answer. nothing i want can she give me.
tuesday morning i'm hauling three cats to the vet for exams and shots.
i'm the first appointment so she better be on time for a change! then
back to work tuesday night.
oh and i can't forget those fun nightly trips to my parents house to
give the cat his amoxicillin injections. whee!
i wish i could go to bed and sleep for like a zillion years without
catzilla waking me up.
