Object: friendship ending.
I have a friend who is over time has gone from super nice to super
mean. We went to highschool together where I basically gathered all of
my nerves and pestered him until we became friends. And we were great
friends. I went to college and tried a year of university and went to
the same one he did. He was one year ahead of me, and I a year behind.
We took different subjects but still met up and hung outside of school
regularily. This was a year ago.
I am taking a year off and now when we see each other it's in a group
setting and he is always horridly making fun of me. Last year I felt
maybe he had a crush on me and now it's like he truly detestes me.
He's always making fun of my pictures (i take self-pictures), tries to
"correct" my opinions, and it's always in front of others. I also have
a blog (private for now) which he used to praise me for but now it's
like a huge joke.
I finally confronted him about this, asking why is he treating me like
this? Why all of a sudden? I was rude and abrupt in my msg saying that
he never makes any effort to come see me, only when we can be in a
group so I can be the center of all the jokes. I am shaking and
stomach aching wondering if there was something specific I did, or
that he never really liked me at all and I was wasting my time and
putting too much importance on this friendship.
I am always on the outside of my relationships watching them turn to
*****, helpless. Feeling any move I make will be the thing that tears
it apart.

don't do that

Meybe just talk to the person about it, I have a very close friend
from the
internet (who I have met in real life) who has accused me of making
posts
that slightly go astray of what the real meaning of what I reply to
is.
We are OK with it after I pointed out what was being said was what was
intended to be said... by both of us.
If it's an important friendship then both of you can be open about it.
I tend to be with my friends, granted who I have very few of.
Real life contact with people I work with or don't know is society
expects ... or you found someone that will big note themselves at your
expense. It happens.
It's possible that things change and folk drift apart, however meybe
you might
have stated things your friend might not have wanted mentioned, so
is doing the same?
