Is your therapist ABMHS Board Certified?
If you have symptoms of depression, don't you want to be certain that your
therapist has the right skills to improve your symptoms?
ABMHS Board Certification insures that your therapist is a specialist in the
treatment of your problems. Without ABMHS Board Certification your licensed
mental health provider is only generally licensed to provide psychological
care.
Be certain and confident that the person you are telling your personal
thoughts are well trained to help you make those important changes in your
life.

independent certification board. Certifying licensed therapists (e.g.,
psychologist, social workers, and mental health counselors) in the treatment

Only America has good therapists? I knew there was a problem with
mine. What should I do if there are no ABMHS therapists available
where I live?

And they are every bit as talented as, say, a scientologist OT8.

One of the annoying things about believing in free will and individual
responsibility is the difficulty of finding somebody to blame your problems
on. And when you do find somebody, it's remarkable how often his picture
turns up on your driver's license.

ABMHS certifies clinicians who demonstrate the ability to treat individuals
using evidenced-based interventions. We do not believe in scientology or
any other pseudoscience. We have established criteria to enable mental
health professionals to show that they specialize in treating focused
problems (e.g., Mood Disorders).
