getting to slep |
I'm seeking six volunteers for a five-week trial of a revolutionary
new method for getting to sleep that I have developed. The trial will
be conducted entirely via the 'net; participants must be able to email
every day. There are no fees or charges of any kind. Names and email
addresses will be kept completely confidential, and no-one will be
asked to change their current drug regime (if any).
If interested please email me at timro21@gmail.com.

Easy, take a valium or a jug or two, that does not
mean you will not wake up at around 04:00 at the
slightest noise, and just be in a half awake/asleep
state for the next few hours though (however not
feeling like getting out of bed).
It's interesting that I suspect folk that live in quiet
areas tend to finding going to sleep when in a
noisy area impossible (well for me anyway).
Email me the method, I'm sorta curious. I don't
have an actual going to sleep problem in the area
I live, so no problems going to sleep for me, problems
with any noise 1/2 waking me up, and then a half
awake/half asleep state of random thoughts that
change subject entirely every few seconds (a bit
freaky as I don't even know the subject matter in
some cases, sort of I'm listening to a radio - but
my radio next to my bed it turned off, so not that).
Garbage truck collection on Tuesday mornings at
around 06:00 brings me totally awake though.

oh yeah, I'm likely to start participating in an experiment with too few
participants to be statistically significant, using a methodology which
is obviously flawed, run by someone who discloses no qualifications, and
who uses a gmail account.
