Going to see my doctor for anti-depressants and anti-anxiety drugs |
I have an appointment with my doctor this coming Wednesday to tell her
about my depression and social anxiety disorder. This is the first time
I've seen a doctor about all this. Will she put me on anti-depressants
and anti-anxiety drugs straight away? What am I likely to get?
Something like Prozac for the depression and Valium for the social
anxiety? I drive, so can I still be prescribed something like Valium?
Most importantly, do these drugs really make a difference? I'm almost
excited at being prescribed them in the hope that they might make a
difference. Thanks in advance for your comments.
