Grandmother's doctor appointment at 9:15am went well and she is
rescheduled in another 3 months. I do wish she had not picked 2:30am
to start getting ready. The air was full of the smell of brown leaves
and the sky covered with low white clouds. A feel of just on the cusp
of Winter snow.
We have been touring the shopping malls and getting a layout of shops.
She needs new clothing as her legs have swollen. Size 12 is being
replaced with size 14. I think she looks trimmed out in the Starter
shirt, jeans and Reeboks I picked out, but I get a feeling that she
will be happier with her own choices. I am braced for the hundred
trips to the fitting room. <g

Some people just like to take their time 'getting ready' ;))

Shopping with a woman is torture; /clothes/ shopping ... well, you do have
my sympathy. Some shops 'over here' have "man creches" where the women can
leave us to read about cars and watch videos of cars (or football or
cricket) while they go off and do Woman Stuff.

There is an entire etiquette that defies any logic that I am having to
learn in order to find and actually purchace useful clothing.
