Good morning |
x-no-archive: yes
Well it's past 11:30 but I got up late so for me it's early :P
Absolutely great day. It rained a lot yesterday and that cleaned the
atmosphere. Now if only my windows were clean it would be perfect.
I'm glad to inform you all that my dog is still with me. He's not as
well as I'd like, but still kicking *****. Despite all their secondary
effects, corticoids can still work miracles sometimes (almost).
So now we both are going out to take care of his doggie things, and then
I'll take care of my human things for the rest of the day.
Thank you for your attention. You may now go back to your previously
scheduled activities (yeah, that was pig English, my bad).
Neo out.

He has not defined his sexual preferences yet, at his age. He gives a lot of
hints to like men.

That's all very good English. I'm glad the dog is doing OK (and you,
of course!)

Hi Mr Whiskers, I was a bit dubious about "scheduled activities" (and
besides "scheduled" sounds somewhat "American" to my ears - what would
that be in the Queen's English?)
I'm glad the dog is doing OK (and you,
of course!)
:) (Incidentally he's just barked while I was typing; I'll consider that
a "thank you" in dog language).

British English might pronounce 'schedule' with a strong aspirated
sybillant ('sshh') whereas US English would sound like 'sked...'.
Otherwise, the usage is not dissimilar. Older British people might say
'planned' or even 'rostered' instead of 'scheduled'.
I'm glad the dog is doing OK (and you,

Heh :))
