got the chr() oneliner figured out |
and the substituting of a newline for three dots.
but I can't quite get my mind around connecting the
PC speakers, which is even more basic than the
above-referenced textbook code.
granted, I don't know as I'd be able to use them
to listen to anything being as this system is
at least 3 years old/outdated.

I don't see why not. I was playing mp3s on a 133mhz Pentium. Encoding an
album took about 5 hours.

That might be what this is. What I want is to listen to
overseas (mostly) radio.
It's embarrassing, but I got very tired just thinking of
trying to find out what I need to do.

That might be what this is. What I want is to listen to

Then you only need to have a sufficiently fast network connection so it
doesn't sutter and rebuffer all the time.
