If you don't have a lot of stuff automatically billed, have visa give
you a new number. You keep the same account, but anything billed to
the old number gets bounced. I've had to do it a few times.

That's what I did on Valentines day, cancelled this card completely, got a
new one, and when AOL billed the old card Visa transferred the charge to the
new one.

Call Visa Jane, forget AOL, charge back every month that they've done
this - if it's YOUR card and it's being used on someone else's account
and they won't let you stop payments on it? There's something wrong
with that picture. Visa will do it with minimal hassle.

I'd put the dispute in writing and call and cancel the card...they'll
send you a new one right away and that monthly charge will at least be
stopped. The account's not in your name anyway so ***** 'em from every
angle.
