that is seriously bad. i don't have a life so i need my soaps and
dramas; Corrie, Emmerdale, Eastenders, Bad Girls, Grey's Anatomy,
Desperate Housewives, Footballers' Wives, etc. these programs don't
require thinking which too often i am incapable of doing.
i hope Holby Blue will be better than The Bill. i had to stop watching
The Bill because the absurdity of their police procedurals was more than
i could handle. even i'm not that stupid to accept what they expected
us to believe. no way could they have had a consultant with policing
experience for the plots. i can only accept a certain amount of
stupidity before my brain starts screaming.

Oh, I love Emmerdale, and Coronation Street. I've been watching CS since I
was a teenager.

I stopped watching The Bill a few years ago, not that long after the
soapie plots started being used. I didn't lose interest, but I was
doing a course at night and missed so many episodes I couldn't
understand what was happening anymore.
The Bill was always praised as being the most accurate of any police
show on TV. Have they really strayed so far from the original format
that they've lost that?
