they still around?

yea , its a shame canada doesn't have ,
a better music promotional program ,
a lot of good talent never gets much air play

I must be out of the mix. I have never heard of Burton Cummings. The lyrics
sound good. I am seeing what I can drag up on the net about him.

That's one of those, "I could make up my own words' songs. What else
did they do? can't remember. American woman kinda sucks, and it was
their biggest hit. Laughing is better. They had about 6 hits in the
states in a row.
Didn't Randy Bachman or the Turner guy play in the guess who? I get
them mixed up with "Bread".
I like that song "Midnight Confessions", but it's not from them,
that's "The Grass Roots." Get them mixed up in there too.

You may have heard some of these, they did get quite a bit of air play here
in the late sixties through to the early 70's.
