I will. I'm going to put the cage in a quiet part of the house so the
mother doesn't get agitated. I had to touch one of them, and I hope my
scent didn't get on it. I thought I had two females. I guess not. I'm
reading on how to care for them. They're about as big as my pinky
fingernail.

Three that I've seen. There could be more. I read something that said I
should leave them alone as much as possible to not agrivate the mother.

I won't. I've got an extra cage to separate them. I'll have to sex them
and see which are male and which are female.

Wo. That be one tiny thing.
I was in Petco today and there were what looked like rats in a cage,
"free to a good home". They were cute, whitish, smiling licking each
other's tail.
Python food I bet.

They are really small. When I first saw one, it's mom was carrying it
around in her mouth. I thought she had bitten a chunk off the other
hamster, but nope. It was a baby. I gave her some toilet paper to make a
soft warm nest. She's wadding it up into little balls and burying the
babies.

That's what they usually do with them.

I had a hamster as a kid. It didn't have babies.
I've witnessed puppy and kitty births, it's
best to leave them alone, unless an endangered
species, or being preyed on (cicadas and
grasshoppers/birds come to kind) they prolly
know what they are doing.
They should all be good though.

I was reading about that, and it said dwarf hamsters don't do that, and
that it's beneficial to have both parents in the cage.

Cool. There's been far too much rodent cannibalism going on around here

The male is staying away. He's been sort of guarding the tunnel that
leads to where they made the nest. The mom is just lying around warming
the babies. I watched one of them nurse on the mother for awhile. It's
neat to watch.

I'm surprised she hasn't eaten them Slunky, usually if a male is kept in the
cage with the female and the babies as weird as this sounds she'll eat them.
We used to raise mice cuz I had a ball python who ate them and when the
female had her babies we'd have to remove the male. She's being a very good
mom if she's not hurt them.
When they get a little older and start crawling around you can those little
baby carrots in the cage and it's cute as hell to watch them come up and
have them all chewing on them.
Anyway watch them close I'd still remove the male and put him in a separate
cage for a while.
