its even been 10 to 15 degrees warmer here ,
and although we still have lots of snow on the ground ,
it hasn't snowed yet in January

we might have an inch of snow on the ground now, but i doubt
it's that much. we still haven't had a real snow.

The roads are cleaning out on all the main areas. They even shoveled the
area where you turn in to the grocery store. A lot of the residential
roads are still ugly, and I can't really get around by bike because it
would mean being directly in the road.
The deck is cleared, but the cats prefer to run around to the area by
the shed or climb under the deck...and both paths have them stymied.

But you got the Ben Hur tires!
The big problem is it's either clear and dry because it's in the sun,
wet because it's downhill from an area in the sun and then you get spray
from cars and your own tires, icy, or the occasionally wonderful
looks-like-thick-ice but it's really 3" of water.
It's starting to really ***** me off. We never get a BUNCH of snow and
then extended and continued cold keeping it around with an occasional
4-5" refresher. It always just melts away in a few days and we're just
left with gravel to pit windshields with.

the weather sure is getting crazy isn't it ,
its even been 10 to 15 degrees warmer here ,
and although we still have lots of snow on the ground ,
it hasn't snowed yet in January

we might have an inch of snow on the ground now, but i doubt
it's that much. we still haven't had a real snow.

well i have about 3 feet and a foot has already melted it was 4 feet ,
and the other day it rained just enough to make it all ,
a nice smooth icy top , its fun watching the cats walk on it ,
and fall in where the soft parts are

We're about even then. Plus some more tonight/tomorrow.

The cats have given up on going out.

i figured you had caught up by now ,
and i keep the deck shoveled off ,
just so that cats can have a little roam area

The roads are cleaning out on all the main areas. They even shoveled the
area where you turn in to the grocery store. A lot of the residential
roads are still ugly, and I can't really get around by bike because it
would mean being directly in the road.

The deck is cleared, but the cats prefer to run around to the area by
the shed or climb under the deck...and both paths have them stymied.

its hard going here too ,
cause they never scrape ,
right down to asphalt ,
they always leave and inch or two ,
of really hard packed slippy stuff

But you got the Ben Hur tires!

The big problem is it's either clear and dry because it's in the sun,
wet because it's downhill from an area in the sun and then you get spray
from cars and your own tires, icy, or the occasionally wonderful
looks-like-thick-ice but it's really 3" of water.

It's starting to really ***** me off. We never get a BUNCH of snow and
then extended and continued cold keeping it around with an occasional
4-5" refresher. It always just melts away in a few days and we're just
left with gravel to pit windshields with.

that's how the highways are here ,
but the village roads are that hard packed stuff ,
and my studs are more on the sides of the tire ,
and not really where the road / tire contact is made ,
so they help a bit cornering but not much on the straight

What pressure do you run them at?

i have no way to tell but they're full

Then perhaps you should go to lower pressure. My tires in front say
they're rated for 35-65, so I've been running at 35 lately. In back it's
45-65 so I've been using about 40 actually. It was a noticeable
difference from when I first put them on and figured I'd just go for 65/65.

and what a friday it is

I spent the rest of the days not doing anything, I slept too much

i slept too much wednesday night so ,
i couldn't sleep last night

I slept until about noon or later mon-thurs and then went to bed around
midnight. It was lousy.

i hate when i mess up my sleep ,
normally i like being up around 8 and asleep by 1
