My son called me from southern Cali
yesterday, no, Wednesday, and there was
so much wind, I couldn't hear him. The
Pacific sure is sending some freight
trains of air up and down the west coast.
Do your birdfeeders blow around and
empty out if it's windy?

yes they do and it really irritates me ,
but the birds seem to just ,
pick what they can from the ground anyway

It's unusual that we stayed overcast for long enough to get almost no
clearance between storms. A storm about half this size is common enough
but then it gets sunny the next day and everything melts right away. So
to get it in this kind of pattern is one of those things that happens
only every couple of years.
Being right on the holidays sure doesn't help either.
