Object: Happy New Years!
I remember as a young adult I went to a New Years party every year. Huge
bashes and always all nighters.
As I got older, the parties eventually died and I just stayed up to watch
the midnight celebrations on tv alone. I don't know why the parties died.
Everyone just sorta drifted apart. Or got tired of the hangovers. Probably
both.
Then I started taping the tv celebrations leading up to midnight, going to
bed early, and watching them the next day. I didn't want to be alone and
awake while others celebrated.
Now I don't bother taping anything and I go to bed on time. I'm such an old
fuddy-duddy anymore.
Anyway, there's still a couple of hours to go but I'm headed to bed so I
wanted to wish everyone a great Happy New Years!!
Bruce.
