Object: Happy Saturday
Yay! I made it to the weekend.
There ought to be a law limiting the workweek to 3 or 4 days. 5 is just too
long, and a 2 day weekend is too short. I think I'll run for President and
use that as my running platform.
The temperature is nice with a forecasted high of 65 today. But they're
also predicting rain which might screw up our planned activities.
We need more Carnival glassware inventory so we're planning on hitting a
flea market and possibly some garage sales today. I'm hoping the rain holds
off and doesn't spoil our plans.
All of our current eBay auctions end this weekend so we're sitting on the
edge waiting to see how those do. This is our first time selling on eBay so
we're nervously awaiting the results.
I slept really well last night. I keep trying to cut back on my usage of
Ambien, but I just don't sleep very well without it. Without it I have
trouble falling sleep, and especially staying asleep. On a bad night I wake
up every 30 minutes or so for most of the night. Very irritating.
Bruce.

Cool, it's 81 here already today, and a bit humid, I expect to be in the
upper 80's and sunny. I love winters in Florida.

Hi Jane and good morning. :-)

Cool, it's 81 here already today, and a bit humid, I expect to be in the
upper 80's and sunny. I love winters in Florida.

We're at 53 and headed for the 60s. That's a bit warmer than the average
for the Chicago area for this date. We're getting an Indian summer and I
love it. Middle 60s make for perfect weather for almost any activity,
except perhaps swimming. :-)

I've never sold anything on Ebay. I've bought stuff on it though.

It's actually remarkably easy to do. eBay has it down to a science and
anyone can do it. The hardest part is taking good pictures of whatever
you're selling. As you might expect, bad pictures don't sell as well.

I sleep solid! It's just falling asleep that can be difficult or crawling
into my big lonely bed.

I understand. Sleep is so crtical and we often take it for granted until we
can't sleep.

If you've got a scanner you'd be surprised how well they can often "take
pictures". Whenever I was selling a computer part, like a network card
for instance, a scanner can make a better image, and faster than
anything short of really knowing what you're doing with a camera.

I've cleaned up a lot of my accumulated pieces of old computer stuff and
the occasional other stuff like designer dresses that she doesn't like
anymore and such. But what does she have a steady stream of stuff that
she sells? I know some people have made it into a kind of business but I
just use it as a last ditch effort to get a little money before I use up
that space in the trash can.

happy saturday to you, as well.
it sounds like ambien is a good thing for you. one question,
though- do you snore? obstructive sleep apnea is common and
will cause frequent waking. if you continue to wake throughout
the night, consider a complete sleep study at a sleep clinic
if your insurance will cover it. i found out that i have a
real problem (central sleep apnea-rare), and stop breathing 42
times per hour. makes for restless sleep, to say the least. it
can also be a sign of, or cause, cardiac problems.
good luck on your auctions!

I used to quite badly but Wanda tells me that I've mostly stopped ever since
I lost 40 pounds. They say weight loss can help with snoring and it
certainly seems to have in my case.

Oh my. That does sound very bad. Do you use one of those pressurized face
masks to keep your airway open?

it

It sure can be. I don't think it's a problem with me now but certainly
something to watch and be concerned about.

good luck on your auctions!

Thanks!

with central sleep apnea, there's no obstruction, something in
the brain forgets to breathe until 02 gets too low. if it's
worse than mine, they use supplemental oxygen. for me, they
recommended the use of a couple of meds, which i can't take with
my maoi antidepressant. so for now, i'm just dozing through the

need a pressurized sleep capsule.

it would just be a nasal cannula, i think. something to
increase o2 levels in general, so they wouldn't dip as low
during apneic events. my lowest o2 sat was an 80-something, so
they weren't too worried. any lower, though, and they'd have
recommended the o2.

They just introduced AmbienCR, same old drug but with new time release
flavor. It might help you stay asleep, ambien is metabolized pretty
fast. I can also imagine it might make some people to be more drowsy in

If you want to have real fun, take enough and it gets psychedlic. Not a
full blown trip in any real sense but you get some interesting color
shifting and can get a bit of the "patterns" if you take a moment to
look at something "blank" like a white wall. It's a real mild effect,
especially if you've ever taken any of the real psychedlic drugs, but a
bit neat nonetheless.
Needless to say, if you take the kind of dose this requires you should
generally be within falling distance of your bed.

I got that on some marijuana a few times, many, many years ago. Very cool

No, good weed is known for this. Hallucinogenic properties are usually
listed along with it.
If I haven't smoked in a long time I'll get that for the first couple of

5 days of working. 4 days is my limit. i'm currently doing 3 days
but going upto 4 days this coming week, plus there are these TERRIBLE
