You feel thirsty. You have a glass of water. You're still thirsty.
You have a second glass, then a third, and don't really feel like you
can have a fourth one, but you're still thirsty.
Now that I think of it, it might be restlessness rather than actual
thirst. Oh well.

I notice that every once in a while I drink more glasses of stuff
because of restlessness (when there's nothing else to do.)
Ppl no doubt will suggest a BG test.

I feel like I constantly have to have something to drink, pop, water, (now
gatorade), it's just a habbit I've gotten into and I don't know why, they
say I may be pre-diabetic
Restleness can be a side effect of some medications as well.

Yep. I think I'll wait until (if) it happens to me again. I've developed
an allergy to doctors over the years (bad health during childhood).

I don't think that's happened to me,but that's how I often feel in
regard to food...Sometimes,I feel that I'm always hungry...

too much sodium in your diet, or did you just eat a bag of pretzels the hour
before?

Sodium levels may have something to do with it, you could get some bloodwork
done and find out for sure.
Some illnesses like diabetes has a symptom of unusual thirst as well. If it
just happened once I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I don't (usually) have salty food, might I be having an excessive
sodium intake?

I hope not (paracetamol has been part of my "diet" these last few
days anyway)

Have you checked your blood sugar? Wombn had this symptom for a long
time before she was tested for diabetes.

That's not good news. Diabetes runs in my family - I'm told I might
develop it.
If it happens to me again I'll go to the doctor. ***** I HATE going to
the doctor. It makes me sick (no pun intended).
