Object: have you read laura hillenbrand's story?
she's the lady who wrote the #1 bestseller seabiscuit. (was made into an
awesome movie as well).
i'd heard she suffers from CFS and wondered about her struggle. i just read
her story (in her own words) and must say that i was incredibly moved.
some people are still able to do amazingly great things even in the midst of
horrendous difficulties. and "horrendous" almost seems too tame a
description for what ms. hillenbrand has endured.
very inspiring indeed.
sorta reminds me of rosena.

Just gtot arond to reading this. Wow! What a story!

What a great storyteller she is. I agree; inspiring!
I went through years of trying to tell doctors there was something very
wrong with me and like the author, was told it 'was all in my head' until the
day I finally found a doctor who knew i was dying and put me in the hospital.
I've also had the experience of being so thin that my bones would bruise when I
sat down or brushed up against things, and a month long bout with the vertigo
as she described it. But I can't even imagine what it would be like for years
and years on end.
How wonderful to have had a person who went through that with her and was
there for her, who didn't just get selfish and mad that she was ruining 'his'
life, andd who sacrificed for her. That, along with all her suffering, made me
cry.

Wow Cindy,
What a story. I don't know why it reminded you of me because I do not have this
woman's inner fortitude. But what a woman. How she managed to keep going is
beyond me, such strength, and what a wonderful boyfriend she has. It was really
inspiring. Thanks for sharing!
Best
R. :)
