help me with a country artist/song |
I have a country song at home, it's about a guy who's talking with a young
man who pulled into the gas station and is saying how he used to have a red
fast little thing like that when he was young and you get the impression
he's talking aboutthe young girl but he really means the sports car.

Maybe...my memory is *shot* anymore so it could have also talked about
martians.
It was an older song though, before country became what it is today. The guy
also put out a bunch of other rather humorous songs.

i think that's what its called but the original singer ... i don't know
anyway the song does what you've described , a double meaning thing ,
i'd know better if i was drunk
