I've never voted in my life ,
in fact I've only been registered to vote once in my life ,
I am of the opinion that who ever gets elected ,
is not elected by a decision the public gets to make by voting ,
I believe the powers that be want you to think ,
the public decides by vote who gets elected ,
but in reality thats about as far as it goes ,
the public is made to believe they had something to do with it

You're a good Canadian. I voted for Martin. The devil you know. I think
Harper's scary but I was truly torn. Layton's performance in the debate was
distinctly unimpressive.

Yeah. I was going to hold my nose and vote Liberal, but the
Liberal candidate in our riding didn't bother to show up for the
all-candidates meeting.
So I figured if my vote meant *that* much to her, I wouldn't
bother to show up for her at the polling booth.
So, faced with a choice of Bloc or Conservative, I voted for
Layton. As my son put it, the NDP is the least worst of the
alternatives this election.

I liked Layton because my eldest asked him to come speak to his class in grade
12, and he actually came! Remember those bumper stickers, "Don't blame me, I
voted NDP"?
heh. Well, we'll see how things play out tonite. Minority government no matter
what.
