Object: Hey Used2be
that tip you gave me about using vinegar on my toe-nail seems to be
working. I've been dosing it 6 or 7 times a day and my toe isn't
nearly as manky as it was. It isn't painful any more, either. I was a
bit sceptical at first but after persevering with it I'm converted.
So, thanks! ;o)

you're welcome...i'm glad it's working!!! it can take up to a year to
completely clear it up, so don't make the mistake of stopping treatment too
quickly.
do you see any new nail growing in yet from the base? also, your toenail
may come off completely and then grow back clear. that's okay too.
:)

I wont, I'm going to stick with this. It's the first thing that has
actually continued to work.

Yup, there's new growth at the base and just about all of the yellow
has gone. At it's worst one half of the nail crumbled away from
underneath and ended up getting ripped off when I snagged it on the
bed clothes. Blood everywhere.
I read a book my mum has about the uses of vinegar and apparently for
heart failure cider vinegar, three times a day, "helps". Wonderful
stuff!

I was thinking that perhaps the fungus responsible doesn't like and
acid environment, although sweaty feet must be acidic. Maybe vinegar
is *too* acidic?

I wonder how much the world-wide vinegar industry is worth per year
considering the number of products it's used in?

My grandmother drank apple cider vinegar
and survived 35 heart attacks over a 17
year span.

35 heart attacks?! Jeebus! Maybe there *is* something to this vinegar
stuff. I have to go to the supermarket tomorrow and even though I've
already got white wine vinegar I may just add cider vinegar to the
list.

Well, she was a tough old bird and I'm
sure that was a factor. too. And when
she went alzhiemrish on us, well, she
just kinda forgot to die for awhile
there. But, yeah, I think there's
somethin' to the apple cider vinegar
thing. Especially since both our
grandmums said so.

I have a friend who swears by it for sore throats.
