Object: hi all - well summer is gone.........
transistions between seasons depress me, with the exception of the
transistion from winter to spring.
I don't like the 4 season deal.
would settle for 2 seasons, wet & dry and always warm or mild.
took Josh for one last summer swim in lake michican on monday. it was
actually colder then, at the end of summer than it is today, the start
of fall. but oh well.
the leaves have not yet started to turn color, that doesn't happen
until around early to mid October. so maybe 2-3 more weeks of
summer-like green before natural-fall takes over in this part of the
country. but the calander tells me its fall. how depressing.
haven't been keeping up with asd lately. supposedly, i need to make
some money. i'm broke but really don't care. this is a losing game. i
need to reinvent/restructure my life.
:|
someone, please drag me to the tropics, half-cover me in sand, and then
point to the ocean & sky and say how nice it is just to look at it all.
that'd be cool. [/dream]

i hate fall. it seems like everything is dying. then, i don't do
well in spring, either. give me winter or summer, none of this
in-between.

if i'm not doing well mid-winter, it'll have nothing to do
with the season. i like cold, snowy weather so long as i don't
have to drive in it. i like when it's cold enough so the snow
squeaks. i don't mind winter. it's getting there that gets to
me.

It certainly looks like everything is dying, but just remember fall is
the time when tree roots grow the most.

What was left of Hurricane Gordon - now down-graded to Tropical Storm
Gordon - which rolled in here yesterday and has been hanging around
today, dragged a whole load of air from the Azores up here with it. So,
instead of proper autumn weather - rain, cold, gales - it was like the
middle of June today. Sunshiny and too bloody warm.
I want still, frosty, star-filled nights, dagnabit!
