Sorry I haven't posted in a while, just sort of went back into my

Hopefully he does....I see one on the 7th. I'm applying for
disability and they are sending me to one to further evaluate my
case....when I'm applying for blindness, but I put that i suffer from
depression....guess they want to make sure i'm really disabled...

Sorry to hear about the blindness. It must make things that much
more difficult.
I have wet macular degeneration. It stable right now, but at
some unknown point, I'm going to be blind, too.

mine is called usher syndrome, which is a combination of sensoneural
bilateral degenerative hearing loss and retinitis pigmentosa. there's
no cure...and it differs in everyone as far as the progression goes.
i'm glad that your wmd has stopped, even if it is temporarily.

news. I hope your progression is slow.

to read, drive, do whatever I want. There's a few small wavy or
blank spots in my vision, but it rarely bothers me.
you can at least still drive....i'm not supposed to, but the doctor
never said anything to dmv, so i drive when i absolutely have to, but
for the most part, i leave that up to scott..it's funny how different
your perspective is on driving when you aren't in the drivers seat
anymore....
