AWESOME QUOTE-hope this helps someone!
"If, as Herod, we fill out lives with things, and again with things; if
we consider ourselves so unimportant that we must fill every moment of
our lives with action, when will we have the time to make the long,
slow journey across the desert as did the Magi? Or sit and watch the
stars as did the shepherds? Or brood over the coming of the child as
did Mary? For each one of us, there is a desert to travel...a star to
discover"...and most importantly, a time to reflect on the joyful
simplicity this season brings.
I love this quote and don't even know who wrote it. But definitely
someone I would like to get to know! When you are willing to go deeper,
good things happen.
Just 15 minutes alone to clear your mind, slow your breathing, and
restore your calm will help minimize holiday stress.
It's ok if you are somewhere in the desert in your life-job changes,
partner changes, body changes...slow down, meditate on the real meaning
of the Christmas season. Let your life, and all that it involves, come
to you.
If you are seeking, you will find.
