my sons and their gfs came over today to celebrate Christmas with me.
it was so nice.
my older son has been "lost" for awhile. i bought him something really
special (i told him it was his birthday present, too). he was
speechless. he said i really caught him by surprise this year. i
could tell it meant a lot for him. he was checking it out and i could
see the wheels turning in his head. it was great. i could tell it
made him feel really good, and special.
between reviving a hobby of his and his new job, things are looking up
for him.
he seems to be getting along better with his dad, too, now (since he's
working again).
his gf was even more beside herself. she was so happy with her gift.
they couldn't wait to go back to their place and play with their new
toys. they didn't even stay for dessert.
this was the best Christmas we've had in a while.
