hope your getting some things done... |
i wish you were here so you could help me get some of mine done.
i can't seem to move.
i headed out the door about 2 to go finish shopping and i made it as far as
the little mexican joint down the street. i just suddenly HAD to have a
strawberry margarita. afterwards, i came back home. i just can't face
shopping today.
i don't want to do this anymore. life feels so incredibly bleak.

geezus, i've got to stop this...
I knew I had a reason for using distinct mail and news agents all these
years. ;-) (I know the feeling, though, after slogging through the crowds
storming the mall in Sugar Land earlier this evening so I could pick up Dale
from work...it took almost 35 minutes to make the last two and a half miles to
the mall. At least she gets Saturday off next week.)

Hey, I just read it and was identifying hugely. I've had so much to do and
I've been getting crap-all done. Tons of Christmas decorations in boxes, I
just can't dig them out and decorate. I was supposed to mail things Monday,
and instead I just had a meltdown and became totally incompetent. I just
couldn't function anymore. I called my best bud yesterday and asked him to
help me finish with this stuff and get it to the post office for me, late or
not. He got me a mailing box, took my package to the post office and stood
in the line and mailed it, and went to the store to get the kind of insulin
I ran out of and brought home chicken from the deli for dinner. I just
couldn't freakin' do anything, I cracked under the pressure.
At least you made it out of the house. I'm hanging out in dorky-looking
satin pink with brown polka-dots pajamas. I just slipped a little Bailey's
in my coffee and you can see what I'm accomplishing -- whee, typing!
I should probably get out and start shopping for a box springs and mattress.
Fred just dashed in a bit ago -- I asked if he was home early for the day,
and he said no, there's an emergency. He grabbed a box spring and mattress
off one of the beds, I rounded up some bed linens, blanket and pillow for
him to take as well, and he loaded them up and dashed off. I have no idea
whatsoever what that was about, but hey, if someone needed emergency bedding
I'm glad we had an extra bed.
He's out saving the world one bed at a time while I'm sitting here like an
incompetent boob. Maybe I should do some laundry or something. :-)
