Horrid nightmare (sp: abuse) |
x-no-archive: yes
Yuck, yuck, triggered to the *****-house. Horrid nightmare last night.
When do these wretched inc*st dreams end?
Can anyone help with this *****? What did you do to make them go away?
When do they eventually go away? What do you do with yourself when
it's all so fresh in your mind? What do you do when your stupid body
responds to these horrid dreams?
Yuck I feel wretched. :(

If you think about it, the things that others do to us, don't make us any less of a human
being. They can hurt us physically, scramble our thoughts and break our hearts, but none
of that makes us any less, in any way.
I don't know what you've endured, but I know that you are still precious.
Its only the things we do to our own selves that make us less of a human being.
I realize how simplistic this sounds, and if you can find a flaw in my reasoning, I'd like
to hear it. Otherwise, please, accept the fact that you are still precious.
Peace be with you.

DO you have a therapist?
One thing I talked about with mine was the dreams. She asked me
not what happened or what images did I see but how I felt about
it, how I had reacted to it emotionally. Then she tied some of
that in with patterns in my waking behaviour. They were PTSD
traits involved as well. To find out how it all related was very
useful. She had diagrams with arrows and everything. It seemed to
pretty much stop sometime after although I still have them on
rare occasions.

I've been having dreams myself. It would be helpful to talk about it to
your doctor, maybe a medication change would be helpful.
Probably nothing to be worried about unless it causes some distress.
