How are you supposed to defeat your worst emotions if you're afraid to even face them? |
The only way I know to face your emotions and defeat them is CBT/REBT
techniques. Either written exercises or "flooding" techniques.
The flooding techniques work, but I highly recommend that you don't
stop using those techniques just because you've started to feel
better.
It can be an incredible letdown when you've successfully used the
flooding technique and start thinking that you don't have to continue
to use them. Take it from someone with experience in that area.
