Sorry you've been having a tough time of it.

Yeah well, you know what it's like.
I lost my dad a year ago almost to the day. Only
remaining family for me.

You might remember me as Ann, with the angel wing ;)

Now I do remember you. Sorry to hear about your father.
That's got to be a really awful thing to handle,
especially as your only family.

Mine doesn't have much time left, I'm afraid. I'm trying
to steel myself for it, but I know it'll be a hard hit.

I'm sorry to hear about you dad Lisa.
I took care of my father almost full time the last 2 years
before he passed away. I now he's in a better place now,
but I do miss him a lot.

My father's living with my mother, who's ten years younger
than he is. He's 81. He's getting around himself now, though
he was gravely ill in intensive care a few months ago. Now
he's suddeny drinking huge amounts of alcohol at night along
with his sleep meds, and it's definitely taking its toll. I
highly doubt he'll live another year. Frustrating, since we
know he's doing it to himself, but there's nothing my mother
or anyone else can do. He's a great guy, but stubborn, and he
seems set on slowly doing himself in.
