Object: Hypomania
Hi,
I am writing an article on personal experiences of mania/hypomania,
slanted at this side of bi-polar disorder, and also as a condition of
its own.
I am looking for anyone who would like to contribute with personal,
anecdotal stories or information. No real names etc. will be used
(unless you specifically request this) and all information will be
treated in absolute confidence.
The article will appear in a national US women's magazine in the next
few months.
I am looking to show both the positive aspects of manic phases as well
as the many problems (debt, sexual situations, delusions etc.) which
plague sufferers.
Any healthcare professionals who would like to contribute would be
gratefully accepted. I have contacts at most organisations but need
individuals with opinions.
Please contact me or post for further information.
Many thanks,
Henri Sant-Cassia
.

Credentials? More information...
I'd love to see a great article, but I have no proof of who you are.
Otherwise if you want our stories read the google archives.

Why is this article (or a very similar one) always for a women's
magazine? Obviously men aren't interested unless it has tits (isn't
bipolar more common in men?), but wouldn't general interest publications
take it?

The opinions given above may be mine. They might also
just be what I feel like saying right now, okay?
